We are looking for a Purchasing Manager who will lead our company's procurement activities with a strategic perspective and has strong experience in cost optimization and supplier management.

 Job Description

• Develop and implement global and local procurement strategies in line with the company’s short and long-term objectives, and manage the procurement budget.
• Ensure effective working capital management and optimization.
• Manage the purchasing budget and develop cost reduction initiatives.
• Conduct market research and analyze pricing and supply risks.
• Evaluate and improve the performance of existing suppliers and acquiring new suppliers
• Develop alternative sourcing channels to ensure continuity in critical materials and services.
• Ensure that critical supplier contracts are prepared, negotiated, and managed to minimize legal and commercial risks.
• Ensure the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required by the company at the optimum quality, cost, and delivery terms.
• Oversee the effective tracking of order, delivery, and payment processes.
• Ensure purchasing activities are conducted in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to support uninterrupted operations.
• Lead and develop the procurement team, enhancing team capabilities and performance.

 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 9 years of experience in procurement, including at least 3 years in a managerial role (12+ years of total professional experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge and experience in procurement processes within a manufacturing area.
• Solid understanding of supplier relationship management, contract administration, and cost analysis.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier development, and alternative supplier management.
• Strong negotiation and bargaining skills.
• Experience with corporate ERP systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical thinking, planning, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
• Advanced level of English proficiency.
