We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Services Associate II to join our Finance, Accounting & Procurement team. This role focuses on managing and improving financial functions through process standardization, specifically within the Record to Report (RTR) and General Ledger (GL) functions. As an Individual Contributor, you will perform technical business support work, using your data organization skills to complete assignments within established procedures.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- General Ledger & Reporting: Maintain, analyze, and reconcile ledger accounts and financial statements, including balance sheets and profit-and-loss statements.
- Journal Entries: Demonstrate core knowledge in various adjustments and complex compound journal entries.
- Asset & Stock Management: Oversee finished goods stock accounting, monitoring, and Fixed Asset Management.
- Financial Compliance: Ensure all reports and disclosures comply with applicable government regulations, SOC/SOX compliances, and organization policies.
- Intercompany & Allocations: Manage intercompany documentation and controls, including P/L regional allocation of depreciation and costs.
- Transaction Processing: Prepare, record, and verify accounting transactions to ensure integrity, accuracy, and compliance with accepted accounting principles.
- Management Reporting: Analyze bulk data to produce meaningful reports, expense analyses, and daily process status updates for team leadership.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the team to identify innovative ideas for process improvements and sustainable cost reduction.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in RTR, GL, or FAPS roles.
- Language Skills: German: Native or professional fluency is a must.
- English: Strong professional communication skills for information exchange.
- Technical Skills: * Sound knowledge of SAP and Excel.
- Ability to perform data entry and verification procedures with high accuracy.
- Competencies:
- Ability to work under strict timelines and take full accountability for assigned tasks.
- Analytical mindset capable of solving typical problems within your work area without immediate supervision.
- Good understanding of team integration and collaborative workflow.
- Work Schedule: Willingness to work extended hours during Month-End book closure periods.
