• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology preferred.
• Possess 3+ years of experience in routed, switched and shared LAN environments that operate Microsoft Windows, UNIX and OpenVMS and employ various routers switches and terminal servers
• Must be familiar with Cisco firewalls; Cisco, Hewlett-Packard, and NetScreen VPN devices; and IDSs
• Expertise in Windows networks, Cisco Systems and HP Openview is desired
• Must have one of the following certifications: CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE or SSCP 
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology preferred.
• CCNP Certified Cisco Network Professional certification preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience supporting Cisco networks.
• Advanced experience with routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) and other network services      (DHCP, DNS, VoIP, QOS).
• Experience with datacenter gear (Cisco Nexus 7k, 5k, 2k, 9k, ISR, ASR).

İŞ TANIMI

• Provide daily operational support for LAN/WAN networks, including firewalls.
• Plan, install and support hardware and software upgrades.
• Resolve technical issues associated with network and routing protocols at all levels of the OSI model through the use of diagnostics and network administration tools such as Hewlett Packard (HP) OpenView, Cisco Works and Tivoli.
• Identify and isolate problems encountered on different mediums and network protocols, gather latency statistics and find specific network bottlenecks, evaluate problems and implement fix actions through device reconfiguration or replacement depending on the circumstances.
• Monitor branch locations and datacenters for network outages and performance issues.
• Plan changes to branch network infrastructure.
• Administer switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Responsible for support of network technologies, software, systems, and services at remote branch locations and datacenters.
• Prepare communications to branch locations regarding outages.
