Production Manager

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced “Production Manager” who will be responsible to manage all manufacturing processes and lead team of 200 employees. Successful candidate will also deliver technical knowledge and advice about production management for its facility located in Gebze and other locations.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering departments (preferably mechanical, industry or metallurgical engineer)
• Minimum 10 years overall experience and preferably min. 5 years in managerial roles
• Preferably experience in an automotive, metal, sheet metal/iron production plant
• Knowledge and experienced in quality assurance systems and process management (ISO/TS 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001)
• Experience in lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, TPM
• Experience in press machines, welding machines, maintenance
• Qualified for budget forecast of production department
• Strong leadership and problem solving skills, result oriented and team management
• Excellent command of English both written and verbal
• Good knowledge of MS Office and Erp programs
• Flexible to travel abroad
• Resident in Istanbul Anatolian side, Kocaeli or  Sakarya

İŞ TANIMI

• Management of all manufacturing operations, oversight of facilities and equipment
• Management of technical maintenance
• Leading budgeting for the department, oversight of production planning and scheduling
• Assuring that production operations are staffed and conducted so as meet delivery, cost and quality targets
• Develop KPI and maintain this data to ensure forward progress and effectiveness
• Ensure resources are used in the best optimized way and he constantly search for improvement
• Manage/lead daily production operations
• Responsible for reporting status of company objectives on a periodic basis to upper management
• Support continuous improvement activities 
• Provides support and advice to staff on production issues
