Senior Electrical Commissioning Engineer

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

• Experience: Minimum of 5–8 years of direct experience in the commissioning of electrical infrastructure (Data Centers, Power Plants, Industrial projects).

• Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with testing equipment (Power Quality Analyzers, Megger testers, Load Banks) and power management systems.

• Language: Professional proficiency in English and Turkish (written and spoken) is required for technical reporting

• Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Commissioning Engineer to lead and execute the testing, inspection, and commissioning of critical electrical and low-voltage systems for large-scale industrial and commercial projects. The engineer will ensure all systems are installed safely, operate at peak efficiency, and fully comply with project specifications and international codes.

• Key Responsibilities:

a. Power Generation & Distribution Commissioning

b. Generators: Direct the installation verification, startup, and synchronization testing of emergency standby generator sets.

c. Load Bank Functionality: Plan and execute comprehensive dynamic load bank testing to verify generator capacity, voltage stability, and transient responses.

d. Switchboards & Panelboards: Oversee the energization, phase rotation verification,  and component testing of main switchboards and distribution panelboards.

e. Electrical Testing & Inspection: Perform routine and specialized Electrical Tests, including insulation resistance (Megger), contact resistance, ground loop impedance, and primary/secondary current injection testing. Verify protection relay settings, circuit breaker trips, and interlocking logic for distribution systems.

f. Fire Alarm Systems: Lead complete end-to-end functionality and cause-and-effect matrix testing for the Fire Alarm System, ensuring seamless integration with building management systems and safety overrides.

g. Telecom Systems: Verify infrastructure continuity, signal integrity, and functional readiness for integrated Telecom and communication networks.

h. Develop comprehensive commissioning method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and final sign-off checklists.

i. Maintain precise documentation of test records, punch lists, and as-built drawing redlines.
