Financial Controller

We are looking for a talented and analytical Finance Controller to join our dynamic finance team in Istanbul. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Finance Manager with daily financial operations, reporting, and analysis.
• Take a hands-on role in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing, including reconciliations, controlling activities, and related financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze management reporting, focusing on key drivers across revenue, margins, costs, and working capital, and translate findings into concrete actions and recommendations.
• Monitor budget and forecast variances, challenge performance and assumptions, and support actions to improve financial performance.
• Proactively identify and support improvements in financial processes, reporting, and automation to increase efficiency and data quality.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and compliance with internal policies.
• Support internal control, compliance, and audit activities to ensure data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and effective internal and external audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance, controlling, and accounting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to turn financial data into business insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems; experience with BI-system, D365, AI-assisted analysis, or other digital finance tools is an advantage.
• Professional-level English, written and spoken, is required.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and able to thrive in a dynamic international team environment.
• Able to work in the Başakşehir area.
