QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree of business administration, technical or economical en-gineering (Master/Diploma),
  • At least 3 years experience (ideally in R&D, Program or Product Management),
  • Good knowledge of heating appliences, controls or renewable products, and ideally with HVAC technologies and business environment ,
  • Good knowledge of finance in the context of product development and profitability,
  • Basic knowledge of strategic marketing especially value proposition management and pricing,
  • Reliable know how and application of methods and standards in related processes,
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken,
  • Good capability of SAP, PLM, Polarion, and MS Office,
  • Well-developed international communication skills, working with cross-functional teams to resolve product issues, be an innovative problem solver, and ideally having project management experience,
  • Strong customer-oriented approach,
  • Positive "can do" attitude.


JOB DESCRIPTION

  • To ensure the right balance between complexity reduction and market specific customer requirements considering the brand values and differentiation needs,
  • To ensure use of up to date and best practice methods and tools (especially Requirement management and product lifecycle management systems),
  • To specificy the new products following actual and future customer and market requirements as requirement engineer,
  • To develop the customer segment specific technical product argumentation in collaboration with the product mangers of the SMS organization. Technical support for the product- and portfolio-management of the SMS organisation,
  • To reflect continuously product group strategy and create innovations based upon a broad know how of the development of customer requirements, technologies and competition,
  • To monitor continuously sales volume, sales revenues, cost and profitability of the product groups. Work out proposals for the optimisation of the product groups. Permanently monitor the product group with regards to market environment and competitor analysis,
  • To create project business plans for product creation projects of (local) product segments,
  • To establish a network to all relevant stakeholders, especially marketing & sales, cost analysis, controlling, market research and the industrial project teams.
