IT Middleware Specialist

We are looking for an IT Middleware Specialistto take part in IT Technology Development Directorate of Sisecam Group located in Tuzla / Istanbul;

•           Graduated from Engineering or Science Faculties (Preferably having master degree)

•           Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant domains

•           Experience in application development on Unix, Linux, Windows platforms

•           Experience in database management on cloud (AWS, Azure, Google) and on-premise datacenters (Oracle, Microsoft SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL)

•           Experience on cloud computing standards (private, public, hybrid cloud platforms), management tools and governance

•           Experience in IaC (Infrastructure as Code), CaC (Configuration as Code), MaC (Management as Code),automatization and monitoring

•           Experience in cloud based containerization and micro services architectures and a knowledge of software technologies

•           Experience in API integrations by using REST, SOAP, Perl, PHP, HTML, XML, XSLT Web Services

•           Preferably having certificate of ITIL Foundation and experience in IT Service Management

•           Excellent command of English

•           Strong communication, management and auditing skills and a good team player

RESPONSIBILITIES

•           To define the architecture and standards of the middleware and database technologies for the IT infrastructure in accordance with the corporate architecture. Design modern application clustering approach for applications and database structures in private, public and hybrid cloud platforms

•           Identify workflows with related components and automation in order to provide flexible, scalable, reliable, measurable, safe and cost-effective IT services

•           Design, commission and execute the infrastructure required for middleware operation in datacenter, branch offices and cloud platforms for development, test, preprod and production systems

•           Design, commission and execute of web service platform architectures (Websphere, Apache, IIS, Tomcat) according to Şişecam standards and corporate architecture

•           Collaborate with related teams in order to define integration requirements of applications, perform application dependency mapping process and manage relations and dependencies between systems

•           Design, commission, execute or provide managed services for configuration management tools of middleware systems and integration with IT management tools

•           Audit, plan, coordinate and supervise activities and standards for middleware and database platform security
