Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Reservations Department.
Handle all reservation sales and booking transactions originating from direct channels and travel agencies.
Respond promptly to all reservation inquiries and guest/agency requests.
Ensure all reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate and complete reservation and guest records within the hotel’s reservation systems.
Monitor the accuracy of room blocks, group reservations, and market codes.
Provide guests with accurate information regarding hotel facilities, services, and room categories, and address their inquiries professionally.
Apply effective sales techniques to maximize revenue opportunities.
Evaluate, follow up on, and resolve special guest requests appropriately.
Coordinate work schedules for the reservations team, monitor performance, and provide operational support.
Ensure compliance with reservation procedures and recommend process improvements where applicable.
Monitor VIP reservations and special guest requests to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Resolve reservation-related guest complaints or escalate them to the relevant departments when necessary.
Collaborate closely with Front Office, Sales and Marketing, Finance, and other operational departments.
Ensure the accuracy and timely updating of information within the reservation system.
Support the onboarding and training of new team members.
Ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and quality requirements.
Promote effective communication and teamwork within the department.
