Purpose of Job:
The position of Human Resources Manager is based in the Company’s Vinmar Turkish office reporting to the Managing Director of Turkey. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for performing HR related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR Management. The position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, payroll, policy implementation, employment law compliance, health and safety and offboarding. This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor.
Key Activities:·
· Administers various human resource plans and procedures for company employees located in Turkey and assists in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, prepares, and maintains the employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
· Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
· Monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
· Participates in benefits program benchmarking, planning and administration.
· Monitors career-pathing program.
· Handles employee relations counseling and exit interviewing.
· Maintains company organization charts and employee directory.
· Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals.
· Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performance.
· Partners with the Global payroll department ensuring payroll is correct and on time.
· Maintains human resources information system records and compiles reports from the database responsible for employee job descriptions.
· Maintains compliance with local and country-specific government laws, with GDPR being a priority.
· Supports the Vinmar Turkish team in all recruitment needs.

Requirements & Qualifications:
· A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of human resources experience or a master’s degree in human resources management and five years’ experience in the HR field.
· Some travel is expected for this position
· Fluent in English
