Production Planning Manager

For our business partner operating in the automotive glass and industrial glass sector, we are seeking an experienced Production Planning Manager who will lead end-to-end production planning, capacity management, and operational efficiency processes with a strong strategic and data-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in production planning, with at least 5 years in a managerial role, preferably in the automotive and manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of MRP, ERP, APS, and advanced planning systems
• Experience in budgeting, capacity planning, material planning, and inventory management
• Strong competency in KPI tracking, performance management, and reporting processes
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
• Well-developed team management, leadership, and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Knowledge of process improvement and lean manufacturing practices
• Strong communication, coordination, and representation skills
• Good command of English

Job Description

• Prepare, update, and monitor weekly, monthly, and annual production plans
• Ensure preparation of daily production schedules and monitor plan realization
• Analyze production capacity, ensure optimal capacity utilization, and provide regular reports to top management
• Control the accuracy of material requirements planning based on production plans and inventory levels
• Analyze and report monthly inventory count results and production budget performance
• Monitor and analyze production KPIs and coordinate continuous improvement activities
• Ensure planning and timely execution of trial and sample productions
• Prepare the department budget, track budget performance, and participate in related meetings
• Define departmental targets in line with the strategic plan, create project plans, and report progress
• Follow technological developments and industry trends to improve quality, cost, and efficiency
• Assign tasks within the team, evaluate performance, and create development plans
• Ensure coordination with top management and relevant departments, contributing to decision-making processes with data-driven insights
