Zuma Housing is a student housing company based in Los Angeles. We offer fully furnished apartments for mainly students and young professionals. Our support office, located in Istanbul, is providing opportunities for new team members to join our international company.


Assistant Operations Manager, Turkey

Our busy, client-focused office needs a reliable, well-organized Assistant Operations Manager, Turkey to handle day-to-day operations with a focus on efficiency and time management. Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting head of operations, developing intra-office communication protocols, streamlining administrative procedures, inventory control, office staff supervision and task delegation. We’re looking for an energetic professional who doesn’t mind wearing multiple hats. This position will include great opportunities for the right candidate as well as full benefits after a 30-day probationary period.


This role would be suitable for a well-disciplined and open-minded person, preferably who has previously worked in an international company. Please note that the position is only for the NIGHT SHIFT (from 7 pm to 4 am) 


Responsibilities

  • Develop organizational procedures and systems for office personnel, including filing, billing, accounts payable, payroll and scheduling
  • Assisting directors, delegating tasks and supervising employees.
  • Prioritize tasks; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-up on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
  • Improve employee and client retention rates through active communication and problem-solving efforts
  • Continue education in management, organization and team-building skills
  • Manage employee schedules and troubleshoot scheduling conflicts as they arise
  • Follow instructions given by Headquarter & Head of Operations
  • Establish team atmosphere through leadership and employee development
  • Report Headquarters & Head of Operations on a day-to-day basis.

Skills

  • Associate degree required (B.A. or B.S. preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with scheduling, budgeting
  • Advanced computer skills (Quicken experience a plus)
  • Guest services management experience
  • Motivational skills, team worker as well as able to work on own initiative.
  • Strong quick decision making ability, exercise good judgment, and quick learner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort with fast-paced environment

Preferred Candidate

More than 2 years of experience
Bachelor’s(Graduate), Master’s(Graduate), Doctorate(Graduate)
English(Reading : Advanced, Writing : Advanced, Speaking : Advanced)
