QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

  • BA/BSc in Hospitality management or related field.
  • Excellent command on both verbal and written in English.
  • Additional languages are beneficial.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Front Desk.
  • Previous luxury hotel experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Opera is a must.
  • Ability to work on sliding shift.
  • Energetic with a positive attitude.

Reporting To: Front Office Supervisor

Scope
  • Facilitate the arrival and departure experience for all guests in accordance with the highest quality of service, coordinating with Concierge, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Guest Services, and PBX as needed.
  • Effectively receive guest complaints and take appropriate action as needed to bring resolution to guest concerns, and raise the engagement level of guests whom have experienced a service defect or whose expectations have not been met.
  • Perform as the central hub of the resort, and be able to accurately communicate resort information to both internal and external guests.
  • Maintain accurate guest records and perform rate audits and bucket checks as needed.
  • Ensure guest folios are accurate and make package adjustments as needed, prior to guest departures.
  • Collect and maintain credit for all guests of the resort, taking action as needed for guests that are credit delinquent.
  • Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, credit, and any other method of payment accepted by the resort.
  • Process all check outs including resolving any late and disputed charges, and ensure that packages have been properly allocated and adjustments made accordingly, prior to each guest’s departure.
  • Upsell guests to higher rated accommodations, as appropriate.
