Continuous Improvement Intern (Long-Term)

AkzoNobel is searching for a “Continuous Improvement Intern” who will play an important role within the Operations team for a period of 6–9 months.

(The position is based in Gaziemir, İzmir).

Qualifications

• 3rd or 4th-year undergraduate students in Industrial Engineering.
• Being available to work at the factory at least 2 days per week.
• Having a good command of English (written and verbal).
• Being a team player with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• Having strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Being proficient in MS Office applications.
• Being open to innovation and continuous improvement.
• Experience with Power BI and Power Automate is preferred, and familiarity with AI tools to enhance and streamline digital workflows is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supporting AkzoNobel’s production and engineering processes.
• Working together with teams on existing projects and developing technical solutions.
• Conducting engineering analyses, preparing reports, and delivering presentations.
• Taking an active role in process improvements by proposing new ideas.
