The Marine, Safety and Quality Officer

The Marine, Safety and Quality Officer shall:

Reports to : Marine Manager & Compliance Manager

Marine or Machinery Engineering Maritime degree.

· Ensure that the Company’s Management Systems procedures are carefully followed and monitored properly.

· Assist in the handling of monthly shipboard meetings subjects and follow the closure process. Includes the daily toolbox meeting and work done reports.

· Assist to revise, update and follow up and timely circulation of the Company’s Management System on PMS software.

· Assist on Monitor and follow up the proper closure process of incident records.

· Follow up the schedule and assist to coordinate following inspections/audits by communicating with internal and external parties:

· Appoint agent for any Marine and HSEQ related matters and share the agent details within the organization

· Coordinate operation related port activities:

Follow up the operations

Ensure that Inhouse activities properly recorded and follow up with the related departments.

· Report to the department;

Certificate status follows up due and overdue services/certificates

Class conditions, findings, memoranda, Recommendations, and requirements

· Check and Update:

· Coordinate maintenance of LSA, loose FFE, Calibration Equipment Annual services

· Potable water analysis follows up and arrangement

· Assist on the ISO requirements and certification follow up.

· The vessels environmental and emissions follow up and performance monitoring.
