CATEGORY SUPERVISOR
Qualifications:
· Degree in BA, Economics, Engineering, Communications from a reputable university
· 5+ years marketing or category experience, preferably in FMCG or retail sector
· Passionate about Marketing and Category Management
· Strong command of spoken/written English for effective communication within the global organization
· Good computer skills, especially Excel and Power Point competence is crucial
· Experience or interest in baby sector is a plus
· Proven track record of delivering multifaceted campaigns from strategy through execution and leveraging data to drive strategic direction and optimize marketing plans
· Exceptional project/ budget management skills. Ability to prioritize, multitask and lead
· “Out of the box” thinking is highly appreciated
· Distinctive customer and team orientation and high intercultural competence
· Superior oral, written, presentation as well as highly acquired interpersonal skills.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
· Reporting to Marketing Director
· Develop, budget, implement and review marketing plans in line with the company strategy and objectives to ensure the profitability and the long-term growth of the category
· Define the most suited actions and tools to reach set objectives and reach sales & profitability targets with P&L responsibility
· Collaborate extensively amongst departments to successfully implement ongoing projects and new launches in line with local market needs
· Formulate pricing strategies, product mix, positioning, communication and promotions
· Make forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory. Monitor company and client inventory turnover, sales, returns, promotions and special offers
· Manage agency, vendor and customer relationships to ensure any outsourced work is consistent, high quality, cost-effective and reflects global branding specifications
· Conduct consumer, commercial and economic researches to identify customer needs with insights to serve and become the number one choice of target audience
· Closely follow the business developments & competition and analyse market trends.
