Job Title: Market Access Lead – CVRM Cairo, Egypt Introduction to role: Are you ready to shape access to life-changing cardiovascular, renal and metabolism medicines for patients across Egypt? This is your opportunity to lead a bold access agenda that turns scientific breakthroughs into real-world impact, expanding affordability and availability where it matters most. In this role, you will steer the strategy and execution that secure reimbursement, formulary inclusion and sustainable pricing for a growing portfolio. You will bring together Medical, Commercial and Finance to craft compelling value stories, partner with payers, and unlock innovative access solutions. Can you see yourself influencing decisions across the healthcare ecosystem while delivering measurable business outcomes? Accountabilities: Access Strategy and Business Partnership: Lead end-to-end market access strategies for assigned brands in alignment with brand and country goals, partnering with Commercial and other stakeholders to shape account positioning, prioritize payer and physician education, and drive tailored access plans that support uptake and business objectives. Pricing, Contracting and Governance: Develop pricing and contracting strategies that ensure competitive and sustainable price positioning across launch and in-market phases, in alignment with global strategy, local pricing policies, and implementation governance. Payer Engagement, Negotiation and Reimbursement: Build and maintain trusted relationships with key payers and decision-makers, support negotiations with key accounts, and drive successful listings, HTA outcomes, formulary positioning, and reimbursement decisions at regional and national levels. Cross-Functional Leadership, Financial Stewardship and Compliance: Lead cross-functional collaboration across Medical, Commercial, Finance, and Market Access to design and deliver access solutions that improve adoption and affordability while meeting financial objectives and ensuring full compliance with applicable policies and the Code of Ethics. Evidence Generation and Value Communication: Define payer-specific evidence strategies and communicate clinical and economic value propositions for new and in-market therapies, while supporting external stakeholder understanding of HTA and value-based care to strengthen evidence-based decision-making. Market Insights and Pipeline Influence: Generate actionable insights on customer trends, competitive dynamics, policy developments, and local market requirements to inform current access strategy and influence early pipeline and development decisions. Essential Skills/Experience: Market Access Experience within Multinational Pharmaceutical Companies People management/ leadership skills Strategic thinking Business Analytics & Insights Leading complexity and decision quality Building collaborative / trust-based relationships Knowledge of Health Technology Assessment (HTA), value-based care and evidence-based decision-making process Partners & Key Accounts Management Negotiation & Persuasion Ability Desirable Skills/Experience: Advanced degree in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, or Public Health Deep understanding of Egypt’s payer landscape, HTA processes, and formulary decision pathways Proven success delivering innovative access schemes, including risk-sharing or outcomes-based agreements Therapy area experience in cardiovascular, renal and metabolism Experience influencing global pricing and launch planning and aligning local execution with global policies Track record of training and upskilling external stakeholders on HTA and value-based care
