ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR

Since 1928, Aurora, a 100% German-owned company headquartered in Germany, has been a global manufacturer of heating, air conditioning systems and components for a wide range of commercial and passenger vehicles, with operations in Germany, the Netherlands, North America and Türkiye.

As Aurora Türkiye, we are looking for an Accounting Supervisor to join our growing organization located in Tekirdağ / Çorlu-Ergene.

The position will report directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for managing and coordinating the Accounting Department and its team.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field,
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry,
• Strong knowledge of the Uniform Chart of Accounts, general accounting and period-end closing processes,
• Strong knowledge of Turkish tax legislation, particularly VAT, Withholding Tax and Corporate Income Tax,
• Exprience in IFRS
• Experience with IFS ERP is preferred,
• Good command of MS Office applications, particularly Excel,
• Good level of English proficiency, with the ability to manage international written and verbal communication,

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Managing and coordinating the daily operations of the Accounting Department,

• Reviewing daily accounting transactions and accounting entries,

• Ensuring that accounting records comply with applicable legislation, the Uniform Chart of Accounts and company procedures,

• Preparing and monitoring VAT, Withholding Tax, Corporate Income Tax and other statutory tax declarations,

•Managing month-end, quarterly and year-end closing processes,

• Preparing and reviewing general accounting and period-end closing activities,

• Monitoring changes in accounting and tax legislation and taking the necessary actions,

• Actively participating in internal and external audit processes and preparing the required documentation,

•Presenting financial results, accounting processes and tax-related information to senior management,

•Supporting budgeting and financial planning processes with accurate financial and accounting data,

•Managing written and verbal communication in English with the headquarters in Germany and other international group companies.Preferred Candidate
