We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily accounting transactions accurately and in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with Turkish Tax Legislation, the Turkish Commercial Code, and relevant accounting standards.
• Prepare VAT, withholding tax, provisional tax, corporate tax, and other statutory declarations.
• Perform general ledger, bank, supplier, customer, and intercompany account reconciliations.
• Monitor and record fixed assets, inventory transactions, accruals, provisions, and period-end entries.
• Support external audits, tax audits, and independent audit processes.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and cash flow analyses.
• Follow up on accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Coordinate accounting-related activities with Purchasing, Sales, Logistics, HR, Production, and other relevant departments.
• Identify improvement opportunities in accounting processes and internal control systems.
• Support ERP development, digitalization, and finance process improvement projects.
• Ensure that accounting records and supporting documents are complete, accurate, and properly archived.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive company.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish tax legislation, accounting practices, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience in general accounting, tax declarations, period-end closing, and account reconciliation processes.
• Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of IFS ERP is considered an advantage.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Good written and spoken English.
• CPA qualification, or ongoing CPA certification process, is considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking, planning, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work effectively under deadlines.
• Team-oriented, proactive, responsible, and solution-focused mindset.
• Preferably residing in Çorlu, Ergene, or nearby locations.
