Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:
Act as primary customer quality contact for assigned customers; manage customer issues, escalations and communication.
Lead and coordinate 8D/RCA investigations; define, implement and verify effective corrective and preventive actions.
Manage customer complaints, returns and field issues including containment, analysis and closure in accordance with customer agreements.
Support supplier quality when issues impact customer product; coordinate audits and follow-up actions as required.
If you have/are:
Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Experience in customer quality, field quality or supplier quality within the automotive industry; knowledge of airbags, seatbelts or related safety systems is advantageous.
Proven skills in problem solving tools (8D, 5Why, FMEA, root cause analysis) and experience with PPAP, APQP and control plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
Organised, decisive and able to work under pressure to meet customer deadlines.
