We are looking talents to build their career as a Mechanical Works Engineer for our project in Juba! 

QUALIFICATIONS

• BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.

• 2-5 years of progressive site experience in mechanical works, encompassing HVAC systems, plumbing, fire sprinkler piping, fuel piping, and potable water piping installations.

• Strong ability to read, interpret, and produce project drawings and schematics for effective communication with field crews.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with MS Office Programs (Excel, Word) and Revit is preferred.

• Proven ability to track daily progress and accurately report installation status against project schedules.

• Good command of written and spoken English is required.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills to work effectively within a diverse team environment.

• Analytical thinking, result-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to learn and adapt to new challenges.

• Previous experience working on projects executed in accordance with American Standards (ASME, NFPA, ASHRAE) is highly preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Lead and supervise the on-site installation of all mechanical systems, ensuring full compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.

• Oversee the installation and testing of mechanical site utilities, including fire protection, domestic water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater piping systems.

• Manage the installation and commissioning of key mechanical equipment, including Air Handling Units (AHUs), chillers, boilers, pumps, and associated mechanical room components.

• Coordinate daily activities with site personnel, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless execution and adherence to project schedules.

• Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring field crews have accurate and up-to-date documentation for all installation work.

• Track and report daily installation progress, identifying potential delays and implementing corrective actions in collaboration with the project team.

• Prepare comprehensive site reports, installation records, and as-built documentation for project handover and compliance purposes.

• Monitor and enforce stringent quality and safety standards (HSE) during the execution of all mechanical work activities.

• Participate in commissioning and handover activities, including Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) processes.
