We are looking for a highly skilled Legal Counsel / Sr. Legal Counsel to join our team and provide expert legal guidance in e-commerce, corporate, commercial, consumer protection, and data privacy laws. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, managing contracts, and supporting business operations with strategic legal insights.

• Provide expert legal advice on corporate, commercial, e-commerce, consumer protection, and data privacy matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including vendor agreements, partnership agreements, and terms of service.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including competition law and e-commerce regulations.
• Advise on corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory matters, including interactions with government agencies.
• Collaborate with external legal advisors and regulatory bodies when necessary.
• Conduct legal research, draft reports, and prepare legal opinions to support business and product teams.
• Provide strategic legal input on new business models, product launches, and operational decisions.
• Stay up to date with legal and regulatory changes affecting the e-commerce and technology industries.
• Deliver training and guidance to internal teams on legal best practices and compliance.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law from a reputable university.
• 4 to 7 years of experience in a corporate legal role, preferably within the e-commerce, technology, or retail sectors.
• Strong expertise in commercial law, data protection law, consumer protection regulations, and corporate governance.
• Experience in contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Experience in e-commerce is a strong asset.
• Familiarity with technology-driven businesses and digital platforms is a plus.
