We are looking for a Foreign Trade Specialist to join ourExport & Logistics Department at FARMASI Headquarters in Istanbul / Çekmeköy. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinatingend-to-end import and export operations, ensuring compliance with applicable foreign trade and customs regulations, and supporting efficient international logistics processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate end-to-end import and export operations, from order placement to shipment completion and delivery
• Follow up on import and export orders and coordinate related processes with internal departments
• Coordinate customs clearance, transportation, freight and logistics operations with relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare, review and archive all required import and export documentation in compliance with applicable regulations
• Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, logistics providers and other external business partners
• Follow and ensure compliance with foreign trade, customs and international trade regulations
• Monitor import and export costs, freight charges, customs-related expenses and other operational costs
• Coordinate foreign trade operations with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Finance and other relevant departments
• Monitor operational data, prepare regular reports and provide analysis related to foreign trade activities.
• Identify operational issues and coordinate timely solutions with relevant stakeholders
• Track import and export processes through SAP and ensure accurate system records
• Prepare operational data, analysis and management reports as required by the department manager

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in import and export operations
• Experience in FMCG, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals or similar industries is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of import, export, customs and foreign trade processes
• Good understanding of customs and foreign trade regulations
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Good command of Spanish is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with SAP, preferably with hands-on experience in import and export operations
• Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders and logistics providers
• Strong planning, organization and follow-up skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment
• Detail-oriented, systematic and results-driven approach
