Development Merchandiser 

We are looking for a Development Merchandiser to join the Istanbul office of our textile agency company, which has been operating in the international fashion industry for nearly 17 years, with its Design and Marketing Headquarters based in London.

Our Istanbul office is responsible for  product development, and production management, with a primary focus onwomen’s jersey apparel and knitwear.

Qualifications

University degree preferably in Marketing or  Design

Min 5  years  of merchandising experience in jersey

Proactive team player with strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills.

Ability to build up strong relationship with the suppliers, buyers and designers.

Very well organized and strong daily follow up skills

Very good command of both written and spoken English

Very good command of MS Office applications

Ability to provide top quality service for customer satisfaction,

Dynamic personality, attitude towards excellence,

Ability to quick response and follow up the customer needs,

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Candidate should have;

Follow up and deliver the processes,

To coordinate customer relations and supplier processes.

Excellent understanding of costing  and negotiation skills.  

Problem solver and team friendly

Ability of working under stress and strict deadlines

Excellent skills of sourcing fabrics, trims and accessories

Very aware of upcoming trends and fashion
