Purpose of the Job

Internship Duration 
 
The GEnius; Early Identification Development Program is 6 months’ internship program which runs from July to December. During the summer period, you are expected to work for five (5) days a week and from Mid-September through December on part time based on your academic schedule (at least 20 hours).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Undergraduate students in Engineering at 3rd or 04th degree in the following academic year (2020-2021) and maintaining student status throughout the internship
• Have a high standard of written and spoken English
• Good command of MS Office Skills (MS Word, Excel, Power point)
• Committed to 6 months’ internship - Able to work full time from July to September and from September onwards, 20 hours per week by the end of the internship period 
• Interest in Energy industry and Marketing
• Hardworking and analytical thinking

Key Responsibilities

The Quality Operations trainee will partner with the regional and functional teams in Europe to drive the use of Quality processes and tools, monitor process performance and enable data analysis. 

Manage quality data capture and analytics that improve the customer experience, reduce the cost of poor quality and drive operational improvements for the Europe Power Service business

• Management of Non-conformities (NCR): ensuring capture, processing, and analysis.
• Cause Analysis Management (RCA): manage and ensure capture, processing and analysis.
• Audit planning management
• Management of continuous improvement projects (subject to systemic non-conformities),
• Implementation of KPIs and dashboards for the Europe region.
• Support for the deployment of new procedures / training to be carried out for project teams
•  (Example: treatment of non-quality costs).
• Support for the implementation of a communication tool for the Europe region towards operational teams
• Support dashboards and following report-out through processes and tools owned by GE Power Region Quality Europe
