Sales Manager
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager who will take full responsibility for strategic sales and marketing management within a well-established, strong, and industry-leading company. This role is a fully authorized and accountable senior management position responsible for managing sales operations across Turkey, coordinating regional offices, developing the distributor network, and achieving annual sales targets. The position offers the opportunity to work directly with top management, make strategic decisions, and lead a large-scale sales organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategic plans in coordination with the Deputy General Manager, Regional Management, and the CEO to achieve annual sales targets; organize the team for the preparation of annual sales budgets, present budgets to senior management for approval, and closely monitor implementation processes.
- Continuously analyze market needs, evaluate new product requirements, systematically monitor competitors’ price lists, sales conditions, and current market prices on a monthly basis, and implement corrective and preventive actions to address identified issues.
- Take responsibility for the establishment and effective management of Regional Directorates across Turkey, define distributor regional boundaries, manage annual targets in coordination with Regional Management, plan unit-based sales targets for retailers and sub-dealers, and evaluate and approve new distributor and dealership decisions.
- Approve planned craftsman/installer training programs, regularly monitor performance, and strategically plan campaigns and promotions while ensuring full coordination across relevant teams.
- Research companies for subcontracted manufacturing, establish necessary business partnerships, and work in close coordination with relevant departments to ensure uninterrupted sales operations. Ensure full compliance with all company Policies, Procedures, Instructions, and corporate documentation within your area of responsibility.
- Ensure accountability for the effectiveness of the management system; contribute to the establishment of quality policies and quality objectives; ensure integration of management system requirements into business processes; promote a process-based approach and risk-based thinking; ensure the availability of necessary resources; share effective system management practices; ensure achievement of intended outcomes; encourage team participation, continuous improvement, and support other management representatives.
Qualifications – Education & Experience
Education Level:
- Bachelor’s degree (mandatory)
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of total experience in sales
- At least 6 years of industry-specific experience
- Proven hands-on experience in sales management, team coordination, budget planning, and market analysis
Technical Skills & Competencies:
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications
- Expert-level Excel skills, particularly in data analysis, reporting, and budget preparation
- ERP system knowledge is mandatory
- Experience with Axapta (Microsoft Dynamics AX) is a strong asset
