The Role
We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development & Sales Manager to
grow our Toys, Games, Stationery and Publishing Category.
Reporting to the Deputy General Manager, this role combines new partner acquisition
and existing portfolio development. The successful candidate will lead the expansion of
existing licensing partnerships, create new partners and grow the category footprint in
the market.
Key Responsibilities
Category Ownership
• Lead and develop the Toys, Games, Stationery & Publishing categories
• Continuously identify new opportunities and expand category presence in Turkey
New Business Development
• Identify, approach and secure new licensing partnerships
• Lead commercial discussions and negotiations through to signed agreements
Existing Portfolio Performance Management
• Work with existing licensees to expand product ranges and strengthen retail
distribution
• Monitor commercial performance and identify growth opportunities to unlock the full
commercial potential
Market & Retail Development
• Build relationships with key retailers supporting licensed product distribution
• Track category trends and identify emerging opportunities
Key Point of Contact for Global Teams
• Collaborate with international licensor teams on category performance and growth
strategy
• Prepare business updates and presentations for global partners
Internal Coordination
• Work closely with internal divisions including brand assurance & product
development, design, marketing, retail development, and finance
What We Are Looking For
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership mentality
• Demonstrated ability to generate and close new business partnerships
• Strong commercial instincts and negotiation skills
• Confidence approaching new companies and decision-makers
• Ability to build long-term commercial relationships
• Excellent command of English
• Experience in Toys, Games, Stationery or Licensing would be considered an advantage
