Warehouse Operations Assistant Specialist

Location: Istanbul, Turkey

At MR.DIY, we’re looking for a Warehouse Operations Assistant Specialist to support our inbound warehouse operations through reporting, coordination, and day-to-day planning. You’ll work closely with the Operations Supervisor, help turn operational data into useful information, and develop your skills in a fast-moving, store-focused environment.

What you’ll do

• Assist in preparing and updating receiving plans based on expected arrivals, shipment volumes, and available warehouse capacity.
• Help coordinate with procurement, planning, and warehouse teams to keep arrival information accurate and up to date.
• Track receiving progress and pending shipments, and report delays or discrepancies to the Operations Supervisor.
• Collect operational data and help prepare regular reports on receiving performance, stock levels, space utilization, and workload.
• Support the identification of capacity constraints and contribute ideas for using warehouse space more effectively.
• Assist with seasonal stock transitions by reviewing stock distribution and supporting space planning.
• Provide the Operations Supervisor with accurate updates, planning inputs, and follow-up on assigned actions.
• Help identify stock or receiving issues that could affect store supply and coordinate with relevant teams on next steps.
• Observe field operations and contribute to continuous improvements in performance and quality.
• Track key operational KPIs and support the preparation and follow-up of improvement actions.

What we’re looking for

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience in warehouse operations, inventory reporting, or operational planning is preferable. Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
• An interest in learning receiving, storage, and stock movement processes.
• Good Excel skills and a willingness to learn how to work with operational data and reports.
• Familiarity with WMS or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and a reliable approach to follow-up.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with different teams.
• Good written and spoken English.
