Turkey Istanbul Trakya Free Zone, (Çatalca)  with the following qualifications to assign the “Planning Manager” we are looking for.

 QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or a related field,
• Minimum 8 years of experience in production planning, supply chain management, warehouse and inventory management, or operational optimization,
• Preferably experienced in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or similar manufacturing industries,
• Knowledge and experience in production capacity planning, workforce and machinery efficiency, time studies, and process optimization,
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management, purchasing, material requirements planning, and logistics operations,
• Familiarity with stock control, inventory management, and FIFO, FEFO, and LIFO principles,
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, ISO 13485, Quality Management Systems (QMS), medical device standards, GMP, and 5S principles,
• Proficient in using ERP and inventory management systems,
• Competent in operations research, process improvement, cost optimization, and risk management,
• Good command of written and spoken English,
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and effective decision-making skills,
• Strong leadership, team management, and cross-functional coordination skills,
• Team-oriented, with excellent communication and organizational skills,
• Detail-oriented and results-driven, with strong planning, task follow-up, and time management skills,
• Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Prepare, implement, and monitor operational plans covering sales, production, and supply schedules.
• Ensure effective planning and optimization of production processes in line with capacity, workforce, machinery, material, and time constraints.
• Analyze production workflows, conduct time studies and capacity analyses, and improve operational efficiency.
• Manage supply chain processes, plan raw material and material requirements, anticipate supply risks, and take necessary preventive measures.
• Coordinate warehouse and inventory management activities, ensuring inventory accuracy, stock optimization, and material traceability.
• Ensure that storage and material handling activities comply with relevant procedures, GMP, and 5S principles.
• Ensure effective coordination among Production, Sales, Purchasing, Quality, Maintenance, and other relevant departments.
• Coordinate sterilization, product release, shipment, and export operations in alignment with production and sales schedules.
• Analyze operational performance data to identify opportunities for productivity improvement, target achievement, cost reduction, and process optimization.
• Identify production bottlenecks and operational disruptions, and ensure the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure the effective use of ERP and inventory management systems, data accuracy, and process traceability.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to planning, warehouse, and optimization activities, and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Manage the work organization, performance, training, and development of team members under their responsibility.
• Ensure that all operational activities comply with the Quality Management System, applicable national and international standards, and company procedures.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization projects, and operational efficiency enhancement activities.
