OZ Optics is seeking a senior executive to serve asHead of Finance – Deputy General Manager, responsible for overseeing financial management and supporting strategic and operational leadership across the Group’s companies in Turkiye.

The role will cover multiple companies operating in different sectors and international markets, requiring strong financial expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex, multi-entity structures.

Founded in 1985 in Canada, OZ Optics is a leading worldwide supplier of fiber optic products for existing and next-generation optical networks. The company is globally recognized for its high-quality and innovative fiber optic components serving advanced optical communication systems.

OZ Optics is targeting to migrate to the ERP program (Syteline) soon used by the mother company in Canada.

Initially reporting directly to the Head of Finance - Deputy General Manager there will be a team of 5 employees:

• Accounting Supervisor (OZ Optics)
• Two Accountants (OZ Optics)
•  AP/AR Clerk (OZ Optics)
•  Accountant and Financial Officer 

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights to management
• Manage cash flow, forecasting, and financial planning
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors
• Lead and actively participate in the budgeting and forecasting process
• Support strategic planning with financial models
• Manage and mentor finance team
• Work closely with senior leadership to support business goals
• Partner with other departments to improve financial processes
• Act as a key member of the project team for the implementation of a new ERP system,
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Implement best practices in financial management

Required Skills/Capabilities:

• Strong accounting and financial management background
• Solid experience with ERP systems (implementation, migration, or daily operational use; Syteline experience is a plus)
• Proven people management and leadership skills
• Ability to manage and coordinate multi-company and international operations
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and inter-personal skills in a corporate and cross-cultural environment
• Methodical approach and quantitative skills
• Ability to work with little supervision in a dynamic environment.

• 15 years of experience or more
• University degree
