We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated and customer-orientedTeam Leader Merchandiser to lead our merchandising team and manage key customer accounts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Textile Technology, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of merchandising experience, with at least2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong experience in Denim and Woven Garment manufacturing.
- Proven experience working with European fashion brands.
- Excellent knowledge of garment development, costing, sourcing and production processes.
- Strong understanding of fabrics, trims, washing techniques and garment construction.
- Ability to read and interpret Tech Packs / Technical Specification Sheets.
- Experience in sample development, fit approval, PP sample and bulk production follow-up.
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
- Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.
- Excellent planning, analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple customers and projects simultaneously.
- Good command of Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Experience with ERP and/or PLM systems is an advantage.
- No restriction for domestic and international travel.
- Military service completed (for male candidates).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Merchandising Team to achieve company objectives.
- Manage customer accounts from product development through shipment.
- Coordinate communication between customers and internal departments.
- Ensure all customer requirements are accurately translated into production.
- Supervise sampling processes including Fit Sample, Size Set, PP Sample and Shipment Sample approvals.
- Monitor production timelines and ensure on-time delivery.
- Work closely with Product Development, Sourcing, Planning, Production, Quality Assurance and Logistics teams.
- Review costing, negotiate pricing and support commercial decisions.
- Monitor order profitability and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Coach and mentor merchandising team members.
- Prepare management reports and KPI analyses.
