We are looking for a Project Partner to join our Research Development and Technology Transfer Office.

The position is based on Tuzla campus of Sabanci University.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Significant experience with minimum 6 years in one of the following or related areas: material science and engineering, polymer science, composite materials,
• Graduate degree in one of the domains mentioned above,
• Strategic thinking and advanced skills in design of projects/ initiatives,
• Willing to work with academic staff towards developing high impact industry / academia collaboration,
• Problem solver, works with other stakeholders, and influences / mobilizes them towards solutions,
• Knowledge and preferably experience on national (TÜBİTAK etc.) and EU (H2020 etc.) R&D support programs,
• Knowledge on IP strategy and processes is an asset,
• Very good command of English language,
• Team-oriented person with strong communications skills,
• Be able to travel without any restrictions (domestic and international).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• As a Key Account Manager, engaging frequent meetings with the faculty members and researchers of Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences to identify their needs and requests,
• Communicating the technical and scientific requests coming from the external stakeholders with the relevant faculty and centers to develop contract research collaborations,
• Close monitoring of the assigned faculty members' and researchers’ scientific and research outputs (i.e. publications, patents, etc.) to identify new collaboration opportunities with industry,
• Drafting the budget and the quotation for the contract-based research, preparing and negotiating / managing the contract, aligning with external and internal stakeholders,
• Supporting the faculty members and researchers' proposal development (i.e., consortium building, budget drafting, proposal enhancement) for the public national and international R&D&I calls (i.e., TUBITAK, EU, etc.).
