Corporate Sustainability Expert

Sustainability Expert will be recruited to be assigned in the facility operating in the textile sector.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduated from relevant departments such as Business Administration, International Relations, or Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in corporate sustainability.
• Experienced in project planning and coordination.
• Proficient in MS Office and project management tools.
• Advanced level of English proficiency.
• No travel restrictions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Contributing to the development of strategies to achieve the company’s sustainability goals.
• Developing environmental sustainability plans, such as optimizing the use of natural resources, improving energy efficiency, and enhancing waste management systems.
• Ensuring supply chain partners comply with sustainability standards and providing support/guidance as needed.
• Supporting the fulfillment of the company’s social responsibilities, such as ethical work conditions, fair trade, and respect for human rights.
• Preparing and managing sustainability activities and projects.
• Coordinating the preparation of the annual sustainability activity reports or working with consultancy firms to ensure collaboration and coordination.
• Monitoring and reporting the company’s environmental impacts, such as carbon footprint, water consumption, and energy usage.
• Reporting sustainability-related performance indicators to inform management and other stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with eco-friendly certifications (e.g., GOTS, OCS, RCS, GRS, RegenAgri, Oeko-Tex) and ISO Management System Certifications, as well as local environmental regulations.
• Preparing for sustainability-related audits and ensuring completion, along with implementing corrective/preventive/improvement actions post-audit (experience with Brand, SLCP, Higg FEM, and certification audits is a plus).
• Establishing supplier and customer connections as required by the systems.
• Managing processes to meet customer demands and expectations related to sustainability, ensuring effective communication and information flow with senior management.
• Coordinating internal and external audits in line with sustainability policies.
• Raising awareness about sustainability among employees and organizing training sessions.
• Developing and implementing projects to strengthen the sustainability culture within the company.
• Collaborating with external stakeholders such as customers, suppliers, and NGOs on sustainability initiatives and maintaining communication with them.
• Understanding sustainability-related demands and developing strategies to address them.
