Finance Director (Construction Sector)

We are currently seeking a Finance Director for our international construction company, to be appointed at our headquarters office located in Istanbul, Seyrantepe.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial management
3. Previous experience in the construction sector is preferred
4. Preferably experienced in international project finance and financial operations
5. Strong knowledge of accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting
6. Proficiency in MS Office applications
7. Excellent command of written and spoken English (French is a plus)
8. CPA certification is preferred
9. Strong analytical thinking, planning, organizational, and time management skills
10. Strong leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills
11. For male candidates, no military obligation
12. No travel restrictions, with willingness to travel frequently to African countries

Job Description

1. Manage budgeting, cash flow, financial planning, and reporting processes
2. Oversee accounting and financial operations for assigned countries and projects
3. Ensure compliance with local legislation, international standards, and internal procedures
4. Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions
5. Monitor project financial performance and identify financial risks and improvement areas
6. Support senior management with financial analysis and decision-making processes
7. Oversee audit, tax, internal control, and consolidation processes
8. Contribute to the development of strategies to improve financial efficiency and profitability
9. Lead and develop finance and accounting teams
10. Conduct financial analyses and feasibility studies for new business opportunities and investments
