We are now looking for a Chef de Cuisine for our FOLIE Restaurant & Beach to join our team in Bodrum. 

Core Activities

  • To plan and project service opportunities in order to increase revenue.
  • To plan and prepare a creative menu in accordance with the competitors, format recipes.
  • To plan, develop and implement formal training plans for his department.
  • To ensure that his associates follow a high standard of personal & food hygiene
  • In accordance of business, to plan his department weekly roster, O.T. list and weekly time sheet, assure a smooth service sequence
  • Handles employee questions and concerns.
  • Assists in supervising daily shift operations.
  • Supervises restaurant and all related areas in the absence of the Director of Food and Beverage.
  • Ensures compliance with all restaurant policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Monitors alcohol beverage service in compliance with local laws.
  • Manages to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
  • Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
  • Supervises staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.
  • Encourages employees to provide excellent customer service within guidelines.
  • Handles guest problems and complaints, seeking assistance from supervisor, as necessary.
  • Strives to improve service performance.
  • Supervises on-going training initiatives.To ensure that regular on job training is conducted in his department.
  • To control operating and merchandising costs.

 

Competencies 

  • At least 5 years experience in a luxury hotel segment.
  • Fluency in English and Turkish
  • Guest service and detail oriented
  • Positive thinking, personal presentation, initiative, adaptability/flexibility, integrity, dependability, stress tolerance, property knowledge, company policies knowledge, safety orientation, innovation, self-development.
  • People management, fostering teamwork, and giving feedback
  • Able to develop policies and procedures
  • Self-motivated, high energy level, multi-tasking skills
  • Clear verbal communication to subordinates and superiors
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office
