Human Resources Specialist

We are an international RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) shipping company with offices in Türkiye and abroad. We are seeking an HR Specialist to join our İzmir office.

This is a generalist position responsible for the full HR cycle, including payroll operations, personnel administration, legal compliance, recruitment, and coordination with our international offices.

General Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Economics, or a related field
• Min 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist or HR operations role
• Sound knowledge of Turkish Labor Law and SGK processes
• Experience working with external payroll providers
• Proficient in HR information systems and attendance tracking tools
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously
• Working proficiency in English required

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute payroll operations in coordination with the external payroll provider and Finance department
• Maintain personnel files, attendance records, leave data, and HR system updates
• Coordinate meal card, private health insurance, and other fringe benefit processes
• Follow up SGK notifications, official documentation, employee advances, and statutory deduction processes
• Coordinate employment-related processes with overseas offices for transferred and newly hired employees
• Support recruitment and onboarding processes for white-collar and intern positions
• Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and job descriptions
  Represent the company at career events and support university relations activities
