We are looking for a "Compliance Specialist / Senior Specialist" to be assigned at our headquarters in Maslak, Istanbul.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance or a related field (Master's or certifications are a plus).
• Proven experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory affairs.
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
• A commitment to upholding ethical standards and integrity.

Requirements:

• Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify potential areas of risk.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures primarily but without limitation on matters of Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions, Whistleblowing, GDPR, general corporate governance compliance.
• Collaborates with other corporate functions, such as Internal Audit, Legal, Finance/Accounting, Human Resources, Procurement, Marketing and other business units to direct compliance activities to appropriate channels.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and standards, and ensure that the company remains in compliance.
• Investigate and address compliance issues, violations, and discrepancies.
• Implement a confidential reporting system for employees to raise concerns.
• Assist in training employees on compliance-related matters.
• Develop and maintain records to document compliance activities.
• Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and update compliance programs accordingly.
• Conducts and records a risk based due-diligence process over all the third parties with whom company plans to interacts.
• Track compliance projects and ensure timely/effective follow up, as appropriate
