We are looking for a Senior Financial Modelling Specialist to be assigned at our headquarters in Maslak, Istanbul. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field
• 3+ years of experience in one of the Big4 companies (Audit and/or advisory functions- project/field experience in conglomerates is a plus)
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (oral and written) in both English and Turkish
• Good financial acumen with strong analytical and conceptual skills – able to interpret financial information with ease
• Advanced knowledge of Financial Modelling is a big plus (Motivated individuals willing to learn the fundamentals are also taken into consideration)
• Team player, easygoing, and able to manage good relations with different types of people
• Attentive to deadlines with a high level of communication with involved parties
• Ability to establish trust quickly and create win-win situations
• Ability to manage cross-group and cross-country boundaries
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and presentation skills
• Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
• No restrictions on traveling

Requirements:

Financial Modelling:

• Short & Long Term Forecast of the Group’s and its subsidiaries’ prospective financial business plans, including PL/BS/CF statements for the use of internal and external stakeholders
• Update, audit and optimize existing financial models of the Group and its subsidiaries
• Communicate with finance departments to collect, verify, and assemble financial inputs for the financial modeling process
• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses – identification and interpretation of significant variances
• Publish executive reports to present the expected performance of the Group’s assets on a solo and consolidated basis
• Support the finance departments regarding IFRS-related valuation matters (IAS 36, IFRS 16, etc.), PPAs, and other matters

Financial Analysis:

• Conduct market studies to assess the commercial and operational factors of the Group’s existing assets
• Support the decision-making process by interpreting historical financial performance and facilitating recommendations
• Perform KPI and benchmark analyses on the Group and its subsidiaries – identify and compare various financial metrics of the Group and its peers
• Publish financial analysis on a need basis with an emphasis on subsidiary performance
• Advise and participate in cross-functional ad-hoc projects
