Quality Control Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Specialist to join YKK Turkiye team located in Cerkezkoy/Tekirdağ factory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards and specifications, supporting continuous improvement, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

QUALIFICATIONS ;

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field,
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in quality assurance, quality control, and laboratory operations within manufacturing environments,
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is essential,
• Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) methodologies, tools, and standards,
• Proven ability on quality standards, sustainability,
• Experience in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting quality performance metrics,
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills,
• Experience in customer complaint management (8D, root cause, etc.),
• Knowledge of FMEA, control plan, quality tools,
• Proficiency in testing and measurement processes,
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality systems,
• Preferably experienced in textile/accessory/metal production processes,
• Knowledge of RSL (Restricted Substances List) processes,
• Proficient in OEKO-TEX, AFIRM or similar chemical conformity standards,
• Ability to interpret test reports (laboratory results).

• Ensuring the organization of the tests required to verify production quality and maintaining their up-to-date status,
• Resolving problems encountered by Quality Control personnel during their activities,
• Establishing quality awareness within the company and ensuring its continuity,
• Responding to all kinds of technical questions received from customers,
• Ensuring the development of Quality Systems,
• Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory analyses,
• Tracking customer complaints and directing the team to resolve and improve technical issues reported by customers.
