The company provides energy storage system supply, engineering, and turnkey project solutions, while also serving as the local application and integration center for EVE technologies in Türkiye.

Shortly after its establishment, Aksa BESS signed contracts for three large-scale energy storage projects with a total capacity of 172 MWh. The company supports the integration of renewable energy into the grid and contributes to Türkiye’s energy transition with reliable and innovative energy storage solutions.

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for a BESS Project Manager to join our Aksa BESS team at our factory located at Çerkezköy Factory at Tekirdağ. The position will be responsible for managing BESS projects from planning to delivery, coordinating engineering and production activities, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.

WHAT MUST YOU HAVE (GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS)

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Energy Systems Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, engineering, or technical operations within the energy, renewable energy, power generation, or EPC sectors.
• Knowledge of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), electrical systems, renewable energy technologies, and power generation solutions.
• Experience in managing technical projects, including planning, budgeting, cost control, and project delivery.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment, system integration, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and acceptance procedures.
• Experience in coordinating engineering, production, procurement, quality, and technical teams.
• Ability to manage project schedules, budgets, contracts and claim management, subcontractors, and technical documentation.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken, with experience working in international business environments.
• Willingness to work at our İstanbul HQ and travel domestically and internationally when required.

WHAT WILL YOU DO (JOB DESCRIPTIONS)

• Manage BESS projects from planning and engineering to production, testing, and final delivery.
• Prepare project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful project execution.
• Coordinate engineering, production, procurement, quality, and other departments to meet project requirements.
• Monitor project progress, costs, risks, and performance, and report results to senior management.
• Ensure that all project activities comply with technical specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and relevant regulations.
• Lead FAT, SAT, commissioning, and acceptance activities in coordination with technical teams and customers.
• Manage customer relationships, project contracts, contract & claim management, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support technical proposal preparation, feasibility studies, and cost evaluations for new BESS projects.
• Identify project risks, technical issues, and possible delays, and develop effective solutions and improvement actions.
• Coordinate with Aksa Power Generation departments and international business partners to ensure smooth project execution and successful delivery.
