Aksa Power Generation (APG) was founded as an electrical motor factory by Ali Metin Kazanci in 1968, AKSA manufactured its first generator in 1984 and became an expert in machinery and hardware for electrical energy supply in a short amount of time. In 1994, Aksa community became corporate under the name Kazanci Holding and reorganized, achieving its current structure.

Aksa has been the leader of power gen sets market for a long period of time in Turkey and is among Turkey's largest 200 industrial companies and exporters. Aksa Power Generation has opened one of the largest genset factories in the world in May 2012 in China. Aksa PG has secured its place among the biggest genset companies in global market with its new 100,000m² factory.

We are looking for a“PRODUCTION MANAGER,” who will work in the PRODUCTION Department of Aksa Power Generation for Aksa Turkey Organization in Cerkezkoy/Tekirdag.

• Residing in Tekirdağ-Çerkezköy and surrounding districts and districts of Istanbul -  Avcılar, Beylikdüzü, B.Çekmece, Silivri and Çatalca,
• University degree in engineering,
• At least seven years of experience in the manufacturing industry. (Sheet metal processing including cutting, bending, welding and painting is plus), (Experience in automotive industry is a plus), (Experience in roles of technical leaderships such as investment management, maintenance Management, Project Management etc is a plus)
• Strong Industry 4.0, IoT system deployment and field experience (ERP, MES, Big data collection and reporting tools hands on experience in is a plus)
• Strong background in LEAN manufacturing systems; Strong experience with measurables,
• Strong communication skills, capable of realizing production targets together with the team members directly reporting to him/her; visionary,
• Having strong decision-making, problem-solving skills and leadership qualities, quality-oriented and initiative,
• Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis as well as as a group
• Excellent command of English is a must,
• Strong analytical skills, eager to succeed with hands-on approach, dynamic and result-oriented, open-minded and cooperative attitude,

Job Description

• Able to take an active role in commissioning of new investment projects,purchasing of equipment and systems etc.
• Determining the necessary systems and methods by constantly following the new developments and literature to increase productivity and quality,
• Monitoring the capacity utilization of the factory, and managing projects to increase the potential capacity and quality in accordance with set KPI’s,
• Taking initiative to solve the problems that may arise in production, lead maintenance activities.
• Manage the production teams, employees, evaluates employee areas of improvement and implements strategies relating to employee development,provides overall employee performance;
• Ensure European production standards and occupational safety
• Implement lean manufacturing principles (Value stream, Kaizen, 5S, TPM)
• Ensuring IT-supported coordination between production, planning and logistics
