ABOUT THE POSITION

 AKSA BESS is looking for a Financial Affairs Manager who has strong experience in that process.

• With no obstacle to work at the location of Aksa BESS Kavacık Office/Istanbul.
• Bachelor’s degree from relevant departments of universities (preferably Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Public Finance, or related fields),
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Accounting / Finance / Financial Affairs departments, with at least 5 years of managerial experience,
• Strong expertise in Budgeting, Financing and Accounting.
• Demonstrated experience in financial process development and system implementation projects; preferably with experience in project-based organizations,
• Experience in project financing,
• Highly organized, disciplined, and possessing strong leadership skills,
• Proven experience in budgeting, cash flow management, and financial modeling,
• Preferably with a background in independent audit or experience managing audit processes,
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; SAP knowledge is preferred,
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally in line with business needs.

JOB DESCRIPTION

•  Lead and oversee the Company’s cash flow planning and liquidity management strategy to ensure financial sustainability and operational continuity
• Identify project-based financing requirements and develop robust financial models to support investment decisions and long-term growth objectives
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with banks and financial institutions; negotiate and manage financing terms and structures.
• Oversee credit facilities and complex financing arrangements, ensuring optimal capital structure and risk management.
• Design, plan, and monitor end-to-end project financing processes in alignment with corporate strategy.
• Ensure full compliance of accounting operations with applicable legislation and regulatory requirements, in close coordination with group company accounting teams
• Oversee tax compliance processes and ensure the accuracy and integrity of all statutory filings and declarations.
• Lead and coordinate independent audit and financial audit processes, ensuring transparency and governance excellence.
• Design and strengthen internal control frameworks and risk management mechanisms
• Direct and consolidate the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational targets
• Establish and implement project-based budgeting and cost control systems to enhance financial discipline and performance tracking.
• Deliver comprehensive monthly financial reports to senior management, providing strategic insights and actionable recommendations
• Conduct in-depth variance and profitability analyses to support business performance optimizations
• Provide data-driven financial analyses and executive-level reports to support strategic decision-making
• Oversee and manage government incentives, including R&D Center incentives, VAT exemptions, and investment incentive certificates (e.g., Inward Processing Regime), ensuring maximum benefit and regulatory compliance.
