Financial Budgeting and Reporting Specialist Turkey

AkzoNobel is searching for a “Financial Budgeting and Reporting Specialist” to join the Finance team on a9-month fixed-term contract.

The position is based in ESBAS Gaziemir, İzmir.

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics/Management/Business Administration or holding a master’s degree in the related areas
• Preferably has a minimum 3 years of experience in Big 4 audit firms as an auditor and at least 3 years of experience in the same position in multinational manufacturing companies
• Certified Public Accountant certification (SMMM) is an asset
• Strong knowledge of Turkish generally accepted accounting principles (Local GAAP), and IFRS
• Strong analytical thinking skills and ability to add value on existing processes
• Fluency in English both oral and written
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office applications and advanced level of excel knowledge
• Strong experience in SAP FI & CO modules
• Self-motivated, Result-oriented and strong problem solving
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Able to deliver quality work on time
• Must possess good work habits, a strong work ethic, a quick study, able to learn, retain and teach others
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic multinational environment
• Proven capabilities of multi-tasking and working under pressure with deadlines

Responsibilities

• Supporting monthly closing and financial statement preparation
• Preparing the reports requested by the management or other departments, which are prepared accurately and completely within deadlines
• Supporting the financial statements and financial analyses in consistent with Akzo Nobel rules (AkzoNobel Standard Chart of Accounts) for the related period, reporting according to the Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) format, performing necessary preliminary preparations
• Performing follow up and recording of Fixed Asset procedures creation of investment internal orders, buying, capitalization, depreciation and CAPEX closures
• Introducing raw material and finished product costs and additional costs to the system via SAP
• Preparing necessary works and provide information to external auditors and InControl teams
• Acting within the framework of the Akzo Nobel Business Principles while fulfilling the duties
• Performing cost controls based on cost centers and cost elements
• Ability to analyze and report data from SAP and HFM
• Support other functions and departments on daily activities
