Merchandiser

Our company, headquartered in Istanbul, exports 12 million pairs of jeans annually to customers in Europe and America. We receive all orders based on our own designs and offer 8,000 new models annually, which are created at our Design Center in Istanbul, approved by the Ministry of Industry and Technology.

We are looking for a Merchandiser to be assigned to the head office of our group of companies in Merter, Istanbul.

General Qualifications:

• Graduated from relevant departments of universities,
• At least 2 years of experience in woven garments, especially in denim,
• Advanced level of English proficiency,
• Ability to carefully track work and processes in line with personal discipline and company principles,
• Responsible for ensuring all necessary materials, cutting, washing, packaging, and loading approval samples are prepared for production,
• Ability to interpret technical specification sheets, transfer these instructions to relevant departments, and follow up on them,
• Proficient in MS Office programs,
• Preferably familiar with ERP software.

Job Description:

• Working in line with the company’s marketing and planning strategies and reporting to the Merchandiser Team Leader, responsible for handling the processes from order to shipment (coordinating production and planning departments, entering and tracking model and order records in the ERP system, preparing sample and production processes, etc.),
• Ensuring the creation of any required samples based on technical sheets and critical specifications and keeping the manager informed at every stage.
