Nature of Job/Job Description : Driving the Flag car of Consul General as per the plan and schedule provided by the Consulate. Performing basic vehicle maintenance, routine inspections and keeping the car clean. Maintaining absolute confidentiality regarding passenger identities, itineraries and discussions. Willingness to work if required beyond office hours, early mornings, late nights, weekends and public holidays as per the local rules and regulations. Keeping regular watch on altered routes, changed road directions, etc.
Educational Qualification : Higher Secondary (Intermediate, 12th standard or equivalent).
Age: 21-40 years
Driving License : A valid and clean local driving license.
Work Experience : Atleast 03 years of professional driving experience preferably with some Diplomatic Mission/Post, International Organizations or Turkiye’s Government offices.
Skills : Functional knowledge of Istanbul’s topography, major roads, traffic patterns, and the locations of key sites. Similar knowledge of other major cities in Turkiye is preferable along with working knowledge of cars, their parts & maintenance.
Communication Skills: Fluency in Turkish language and working knowledge of English.
Local Work Permit and Resident Visa : Only candidates residing in Turkiye & having valid local work-permit/ resident visa etc. in compliance with local laws to work in Foreign/ Diplomatic Missions/Posts will be considered.
Mental/Physical health and others :
Candidate should be in good mental and physical health. Selected candidate would require to produce appropriate medical certificate/fitness certificate from Government’s authorized medical centre. Vision, hearing and physical mobility must be examined specifically while issuing such certificate. Candidate should not have any civil or criminal case pending against them. Clearance from local police and other security agencies without having any past history of serious law violations.
Probation period : Two (02) months
