Our company DELTA BRANDS, which was established in 1953, produces personal care, baby products and cleaning products in its own production facilities of 28.000 m2 in Istanbul Industry and Trade Free Zone / Tuzla.

 As Delta Kozmetik, which exports to the USA and 52 countries, we are looking for competent candidates to work as the R&D Manager  at our Tuzla Factory.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or other related departments,
• At least 10 years of experience in R&D,
• Managed formulation studies of cosmetic product development processes in accordance with domestic and foreign regulations,
• Good knowledge of cosmetic raw materials,
• Following the innovations and literature in the sector,
• Knowledge of cGMP and OTC standards,
• Experienced in cost accounting controls and reporting,
• Have leadership, planning and communication skills,
• Fluent in English,
• Proficient in MS Office programs,
• Residing on the Anatolian side of İstanbul.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To carry out the necessary R&D studies for the development of new products or existing products that should be included in the product range,
• To evaluate the raw materials and suppliers to be used in the product according to the relevant procedure,
• To carry out product development, improvement studies, to report, to plan tests and to provide process management,
• To carry out the stability processes and evaluate the results,
• Contributing to the progress of the company in cooperation with the Production and Quality teams,
• To make production trials in a laboratory environment, to perform performance tests and to make product costing,
• Preparing the recipe, giving the production information to be applied to the relevant departments,
• Preparing control plans for the controls to be made during production,
• Preparing production processes and transferring technology to production,
• Conducting market research, obtaining samples and price researches for new raw materials included in the developed formulas,
• Supervising new product development processes from planning to implementation,
• Incorporating new technology, product and production process into company operation,
• To ensure that the projects are completed within the planned time and budget,
• To ensure the accuracy of the content and claims of the products,
• Reporting all R&D stages and presenting them to the relevant departments,
• To carry out the management of the R&D department.
