 We are looking for a ‘’Junior R&D Associate’’to be in Akyazı. A brief job description of the position and preferred qualifications for the suitable candidates are defined below:

• Carrying out new product development and research projects,
• Closely following product development activities and providing necessary guidance,
• Following shelf life, sensory evaluation, and new product adaptation processes,
• Working in coordination with production, quality assurance, purchasing, planning, and marketing departments,
• Excellent project management skills (including the ability to define project objectives, work according to defined timelines, and communicate project progress to stakeholders / key actors),
• Monitoring Turkish Food Codex and global regulations (EU, USA, etc.), tracking changes, monitoring implementation processes, planning legal processes, and taking necessary actions,
• Organizing product promotion meetings, trainings, and supplier meetings,
• Understanding market and customer needs,
• Planning and monitoring laboratory studies and line trials,
• Ensuring coordination of new projects with purchasing, sales, marketing, and other departments,
• Managing SAP and SAP Portal processes,
• Following processes related to Quality / Food Safety Management Systems within the scope of R&D.

 Qualifications

• Graduated from Food Engineering or Chemical Engineering departments of universities
• 1–2 years of experience in the R&D department, preferably in food companies (CSD, fruit juice, water, soda)
• Good computer skills
• Experience in executing SAP processes (creating product trees, etc.)
• Strong leadership skills
• Good presentation skills (written and verbal)
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Able to work in a team, open to research and innovation, and capable of managing projects
• No restriction for travel
• Living in Sakarya or being able to relocate to Sakarya.
