Job Description:

• Perform mechanical quality control inspections (piping, equipment, structural steel, mechanical installation works) in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and approved ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans)
• Work together with the Project Quality Manager and Quality Assurance Manager to ensure implementation of the project's Quality Management System at the site/execution level
• Witness and verify hold/witness point inspections, NDT activities, hydrostatic/pneumatic tests, and other mechanical tests as per ITPs
• Coordinate quality-related correspondence with customer/client representatives regarding mechanical inspection and test activities
• Review supplier and subcontractor quality documentation (ITPs, WPS/WPQR, material certificates, inspection reports) for compliance with contract and project quality requirements
• Issue and follow up Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for mechanical works, and track corrective/preventive actions to closure
• Report inspection and test results to the Quality Assurance Manager
• Prepare weekly/monthly Quality Control reports and submit for review
• Support the Quality Assurance Manager in planning and conducting quality-related trainings for mechanical works
• Maintain project quality logs (NCR, RFI, inspection records, etc.) and ensure timely follow-up

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 2–5 years of site/project quality control (QC) experience, preferably in mechanical works (piping, equipment, structural/mechanical installation)
• Knowledge of inspection and testing methods for mechanical works (visual inspection, dimensional control, NDT, hydrotest/pneumatic test, etc.)
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and welding procedures/symbols
• Experienced in preparing for and following up on internal/external inspections and audits
• Tracking, analyzing, and reporting project KPIs
• Regular follow-up of project quality logs (NCR, RFI, inspection, etc.)
• Able to prepare weekly and monthly quality reports
• Able to follow up on NCR and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
• Strong analytical, follow-up, reporting, and communication skills
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and relevant project/employer quality standards preferred; welding inspection certification (e.g., CSWIP, AWS) is a plus
