For an international risk consultancy firm operating mainly in construction sector we are seeking a contracts and claims manager to work on hybrid basis.

We offer services in contract administration, claims submission and defense, scheduling delay analysis and arbitration support. We are oriented towards serving Turkish and international clients.

We are looking for a Contruction Scheduling Manager as part of our consultancy team located in Istanbul with frequent travels to our clients’ offices in MENA and Europe regions.

Job Qualifications

• ·        University degree in Engineering. Masters degree in Engineering or Law will be an asset
• ·        Advanced knowledge in English both oral and writing is a must.
• ·        Experience and very good knowledge of MS Office applications. Primavera and MS Project software is a must. Knowledge of TILOS is a plus.
• ·        Minimum 5 years of contract, claim and planning management experience
• ·        Knowledge and understanding the concept of planning and scheduling delay analysis
• ·        Demonstrated ability to understand and analyze commercial conditions of contracts such as FIDIC or similar
• ·        Experience in Site Management
• ·        Team player with international experience with excellent English skills and willingness to travel internationally is a must

Job Description:

• ·        Ability to create baseline schedules and perform regular updates
• ·        Liaise with customer representatives to review schedule assessments and agree strategy for resolution in extension of time claims
• ·        Comprehensive management of customer delay analysis claims on varying projects such as time impact analysis and as planned vs. as built analysis
• ·        Overall understanding of disruption and acceleration claims
• ·        Ensure completeness and validity of contractual schedule requirements of varying projects
• ·        Provide strategic commercial support to team members on contract and claim issues
• ·        Evaluate tender documents and support legal tender commenting
