Production Planning Engineer

1) Main purpose of the job 

To assure quality master schedules for plant production operation to meet agreed-on shipping requirements.

 2) Key areas of responsibilities and accountability:

• Maintain running account of orders received, work completed and inventory
• Matches workload, manning and equipment capacity to existing inventory
• Prepares and monitors master schedules by working with material planning, production and maintenance personnel to coordinate activities, shift planning
• Requisitions materials after determining delivery dates, processes data on material consumption
• Cooperate status and changes to customer service
• Participate in internal projects as long-term plans and to ensure continuous improvement and development 
• Participate on regular inventories of FG, RM, WIP

 3) Requirements (competencies, skills, experience)

Competencies:

• Drive for results, planning, calculation, analyst

 Skills:

• Degree in Engineering         
• Language: English

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office programs and ERP systems (Netsis is highly preferred).

 Experience:

• min. 2 years in automotive industry in production planning, customer service, material management process or in a similar position
